Pt. experiencing hot cold sensitivity on LL. Pain radiating into left ear. Compaining of ear ache. Lost existing composite filling on #19 Distal. Took 2 BWX & PA LL.
Dx. Possible fracture into root #19, advised pt. of poss. Ext. Radiograph shows Decay present and into nerve. Endo ice used. Lingering pain. RCT needed.
Tx. LL Block `c 1 Carp Carbocane, 3 carps Lidocane 1/100 epi. O&D #19, 3 canals present and necrotic. Irrigation 10 cc's Sodium hypochlorite diluted w/ h20. Cavit placed.
Pt. to be seen in 4 to 7 days after starting antibiotics.
NV Tx.#19 RCT, B/U, CRN
Rx. given Percocet 25mg 1tid per pn & 500mg Amox x 10 days. Advised pt of alternative birth control method for 30 days of taking amox.
